About Me[edit | edit source]

I'm a 21 year old University student, having just completed the 4th and final year of my BE in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Auckland.

I've been involved in modding Bethesda's games since a while after Oblivion was released, but didn't really release much until Fallout 3 came out. At the moment I've released three mods for Fallout 3, but my main contributions to the modding scene have been my scripting tutorials and advice, and my Script Validator.

I plan on contributing to the New Vegas modding community in a similar manner, and have so far released a few mods.

My tutorials and validator are all available on my website - cipscis.com

The mods that I've released for Fallout 3 are:

  • AMPUTATE - Links certain lootable body parts, like "Deathclaw Hands", with dismemberment
  • CASM (Cipscis' Automatic Save Manager) - An automatic save manager that allows you to forget about saving without ever having to worry about not having a recent save to fall back on if things go wrong
  • Melee Lock-On - Allows you to lock on to actors while in melee combat to make it less frustrating at close range.

The mods that I've released for New Vegas are:

  • CASM:NV - A re-write of CASM for Fallout 3 with very similar features.
  • Corpse Equip - A re-write of a mod that I initially released for Oblivion and subsequently made but never released for Fallout 3, this mod allows you to force dead NPC to re-evaluate their apparel, so they won't be permanently naked.
  • Melee Lock-On - A re-write of my Fallout 3 mod of the same name.

Contact Me[edit | edit source]

I'm a friendly guy, so if you have any questions you'd like to ask me about anything feel free to contact me. My apologies if I take a while to reply though; I'm really good at procrastinating and horrible at correspondence, which tends to be a pretty unfortunate combination. You can contact me by:

  • Leaving a comment here on my user talk page
  • Sending me a PM on the official forums, where I am also known as Cipscis
  • Sending me a PM on the Nexus forums, where I am also known as Cipscis
  • Sending me an email at mark@cipscis.com
