A function included in the GECK version 1.1.0.36.
Description
Returns the value of a global variable.
Syntax
GetGlobalValue GlobalVar:Form
Notes
- This is usually only used in dialog conditions and the like, because in scripts you can simply look up the value of a global by using:
set fSomeFloat to GlobalVarName
In scripts, GetGlobalValue will also accept the varname string as an argument, with or without quotation marks, but this is really just you directly typing in the FormID. GetGlobalValue won't accept string variables, only ref variables.
