SpeedTree Question[edit source]
Trees: the mod community would appreciate it very much if we could get the ability to use SpeedTree's frond feature in the next patch or if someone could tell us how to activate it. It is vital for the creation of distinctive tree structures like those of palm trees
there seems to be a bug which prevents us from changing the branch texture resulting in a face explosion
Landscaping: creating landscapes with a water surface creates holes around the coastline if one doesnt use the very tiresome work around described by me in the forum
im sorry if this is the wrong place to ask for that but it seemed to be the only relatively related option
thanks --Jaysus 22:58, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
- First of all, questions on the Wiki should only be on the Talk page of an article that you have a question about, on the Community Portal if it is a question about the Wiki, or on your User Talk page otherwise. Please do not create new pages for questions.
- Secondly, Bethesda developers do not check this Wiki - at all, really. I strongly doubt you'll ever get an answer from them about this. However, you are monumentally more likely (though still not at all likely) to get a response on the Forums.
- If you really want to pursue this, try PMing Gstaff on the ESF. At the very least, he may know of a better place to ask the question. But I wouldn't get your hopes up. Realistically, they are most likely uninterested in figuring out what's going on - the only thing that they offer the mod-making community is the tools that they themselves used. If there is a bug in said tools, they really don't care because it clearly did not impede their creation of Fallout 3. Unfortunately, we'll never get more support than that - the fact that they set up this Wiki and wrote those tutorials is even a bit surprising.
