Did a few tests with the uGridsToLoad setting in GECKCustom.ini. I loaded cell (0,0) and tracked the memory usage in the Task Manager. Note that the GECK keeps loading objects in the background, so it takes extremely long to load everything for high uGridsToLoad settings.

uGridsToLoad 9 25 36 49
Memory Usage 736.772 K 1.675.332 K 1.935.740 K 1.940.340 K

Looks like the GECK has a bit of trouble loading more than 2 GB of memory, being a 32-bit application. On the 36 and 49 entries it simply stopped loading without a notification or anything. It's still responsive, using plenty of CPU cycles, but no more memory. The Render Window stays empty.

More to come.

Note to self: Try a LAA (Large Address Aware) patch on the GECK executable. See if any difference.
