A function included in the GECK version 1.1.0.36.

Description

Starts the quest, which means:

  • Any attached dialogue will be enabled.
  • The quest script, if any, will begin running.

Syntax

StartQuest questname:EditorID

Examples

StartQuest SQ09 

Starts the quest with the EditorID of SQ09

Notes

  • Avoid calling this function to start a quest which is already running. If there is a script attached to the quest, any variables will be reset to 0 when the game is reloaded.
