Is the image

failing to load for anyone else?
DragoonWraith · talk · 21:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Hrmm... It's not loading for me either. Something's up. Hpfreak26 22:58, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, duh. *smacks self*. It's on the Bethesda intranet, so we wouldn't have access to it. I don't know if it's somewhere on the wiki, but if it is, somebody probably just forgot to make a copy for the public. Hpfreak26 23:49, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
BLACK BORDERS! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!![edit source]
Um, so, anyway, do you think we can drag over the .ess from the CS wiki?

Jam## page redirects[edit source]
I notice the redirect pages you made, but it seems that they don't interact well with the built in wiki searching. If you search for fWeaponConditionReloadJam1, you will find a page text match for the fWeaponConditionReloadJamXX page, but I expect that it would directly link you to the page titled "fWeaponConditionReloadJam1" which would redirct to fWeaponConditionReloadJamXX. Is that a wiki software limitation or is that within our control?--SnakeChomp 19:46, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- It seems like it was working the way I thought it should work for a brief moment in time just a few minutes ago, but it has since reverted back to its old behavior. I am guessing you were fiddling with something?--SnakeChomp 20:04, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
- I am just using the search box in the left hand navigation column, not the advanced search page. It seems to be working again now. I go to the main page, put fWeaponConditionReloadJam1 into the box, and it will bring me directly to the fWeaponConditionReloadJamXX page.
- Ok I figured it out. In IE7, if I search by pressing enter, it will bring me directly to the fWeaponConditionReloadJamXX page. If I search by clicking the search button, it brings me to the search results page with a page text match. Strange...

Expanded Bc Template[edit source]
Hey DW, I've been working on an expanded Bc template that will allow users to give multi-layered trails. It seems to work so far - just need to figure out a better separator.
Wanted you to look at it before changing the Bc template. By the way, the blank condition is {{Bc|}} so I don't think it's worth trying to fix.

- I like the carot (carrot?) - clearest sign of what's going on. Are we dropping out the "back to" part? I'm going to leave it in for now and update the template to allow up to 4 pages.

- After seeing SnakeChomp's commment, I went to check how UESP does it. For even more SAGs, I looked at their template code... they had to make things all easy and are using a simple div class. It requires MediaWiki v1.53, which begs a question - where do we check the version?
- --Haama 20:34, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
- Special:Version lists the versions of various things that are running. But there is no MediaWiki v1.53, the current release is v1.13(a?), and v1.14 is currently in beta test (used on Wikipedia and other WikiMedia Foundation Wikis, but not publicly available).

Bylined articles[edit source]
We have some bylined articles being contributed now. I'm hoping we'll take a more proactive stance in moderating them and remove the bylines from new articles being added with them. See Tutorial:Custom Reload Animation for the current guilty party.

Possible vandalism[edit source]
Some user named Zach has moved one of the Bethsoft tutorial pages (Bethsoft Tutorial Basic Quest) to a different name (Vault134) and created a random page with his name (Zach) with nonsensical content. Smells like vandalism to me.
--SnakeChomp 02:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
An user named User:Kenshiro000 tried to translate most of the Bethsoft tutorials and some categories in some other language. [1]
Bot = Awesome Sauce[edit source]
They approved the bot - nice, and looks like it's working well. I've been hiding under a rock trying to get some mods updated, but that's nearly done. Will take a look later tonight.

Usefull Code[edit source]
I didn't find the article 'Usefull Code' in the GECK Wiki. Could it be possible to create one because the 'Usefull Code' article in CS Wiki was really usefull too. Darkness X 2:01, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

Oblivion Magic Extender[edit source]
I know this isn't really the right place to put it-But for some error in the Captcha, I can't sign up for an account in cs.bethsoft.com.
Can you edit into the magic effects article that "Oblivion Magic Extender (Located here: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31981) undoes the hard-coding in the Oblivion Magic Effects tab and allows for modders to create entirely new magic effects"
And it does, in fact, allow you to do exactly that. War Never Changes Kalizar 18:51, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
