Search & Replace
Revision as of 08:37, 10 September 2007 by imported>Wkilleen
The Search & Replace command will switch out all objects of one specified type with objects of another specified type, and can do it for the current world, current cell, or the current selection. After a successful Search/Replace, a popup will display how many objects were replaced. Caution: This command does not seem to be reversible using the Undo command.
- Search for: Specify the object to be replaced here (using dropdown list).
- Replace with: Specify the object to take the place of the original here (using dropdown list).
- Choose one of the following:
- Current World Only: Replaces all objects for the World Space selected in the dropdown of the Cell View window. This option only works for exterior cells.
- Current Cell Only: Replaces all objects for the currently selected Cell (in the Cell list of the Cell View window).
- Selection Only: Only searches through the objects currently selected in the objects list of the Cell View window.
