Blank Page

Does anyone know when this page will be filled in? I really want to add a new weapon, or at least a modified version of an existing weapon, but I was hoping to get some guidance from people with more experience. Servius 18:01, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't know why it wasn't. It's filled in now.

Video Or Pictures To Accompany Tutorial?

Is there a way to link to a video, or include pictures, to accompany this tutorial? I have a hard time following it in places because even minor ambiguities can present an obstacle when I am simply proceeding step-by-step. Also, an explanation of the purpose of each major step (e.g., creating normal maps) would be helpful as well.

In step 1, when exporting the meshes, are the three files that are created, I.obj, Love.obj, and "PricesStomper.obj" (I believe this is supposed to be "PrincessStomper.obj" based on the references in subsequent steps) somehow created automatically from the exporting of the textures from the three .tga files? There does not appear to be any instruction in the mesh export portion of step 1 which explain how to create three separate mesh export files.

At the end of step 2 it says: "Do the same for _Cube.tga and _PrincessStomper.tga." Shouldn't this sentence read "Do the same for _Cube.tga and _Cylinder.tga."?

Yes, it's possible, if someone wants to make said pictures/video. In fact, highly encouraged, because it is really hard to follow without them. Not sure if there's anyone who will though.
As for your second and third questions, I'm afraid I don't know.
Finally, please sign your posts with ~~~~.

Article Probably Needs Changes

I PM'd the author of this article regarding my previous questions. He doesn't recall anything about it, and said that he didn't actually test the tutorial to see if it worked. Is there anyone who knows the programs discussed in the tutorial well enough to actually test it for accuracy, and make corrections if necessary?
